Bike Virginia Kid’s Day Camp

Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center is partnering with Bike Virginia to offer a Kid’s Day Camp on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm for children ages 5 – 13 years old traveling with Bike Virginia participants. Here at the SWVA 4-H Center we have 78 acres which include recreational fields, swimming pool, nature trails, and rope challenge courses. SWVA 4-H Center is American Camping Association (ACA) accredited, which means we comply with approx. 300 health, program quality, and safety standards. The Kid’s Day Camp includes meals, classes, pool, recreational activities and more. Each class or activity will be taught by a staff member trained in that specific program area plus we will have a medical representative on site during camp hours. Participation is available for one day (either Saturday or Sunday) or both days. The camp cost (which includes a t-shirt) is $100 for both days or $60/one day. Registration is due by May 1, 2015; space is limited, with a minimum of 15 and maximum of 75 participants.

- 8:00 am Flag Raising Ceremony
- 8:15 am Breakfast
- 9:00 – 9:50 am Class 1
- 10:00 – 10:50 am Class 2
- 11:00 – 11:50 am Class 3
- 12:00 – 12:45 pm Lunch
- 1:00 – 2:30 pm Pool
- 2:30 – 3:00 pm Snack
- 3:00 – 4:15 pm Recreational Period
- 4:30 – 5:00 pm Arts & Crafts
