In an all new partnership with Bike Virginia, the VCU Massey Cancer Center has just joined us as a Partner for the 2014 Bike Virginia Tour! 
We’re delighted to be working with them to help raise awareness and to create support for fighting cancer, a disease that will touch all of our lives, either directly or through friends and family.
We’re dedicating one day of the tour this year to Cancer Awareness.
On Sunday, June 22 we ask that all of our 1,600 cyclists please wear yellow to “Cycle-4-Massey” and show support for their effort to improve prevention, detection, treatment, and research for cancer.
Our event will also provide a donation to Massey to support their treatment programs. Riders that register between May 1 and May 20 through a special registration form for the Sunday, June 22 riding will have 20% of their single day event registrations donated directly to the cancer programs at Massey.
During the event please welcome Massey and their supporters. We look forward to sharing the joy of Bike Virginia with new riders that come to us through Massey. For 9 years Massey has worked with runners of the Monument Avenue 10K and we’re inviting their runners to come experience the joys of touring with our event.
