About a 25-minute drive from the streets of Farmville lies a forest escape. It’s Located at 788 Twin Lakes Rd, Green Bay,VA. Goodwin and Prince Edward are the 2 lakes within the park. Goodwin Lake has a beach for swimming and both lakes allow paddling and fishing.
Cedar Crest Conference Center is situated on Prince Edward Lake and will be the HQ for the second half of the 2020 Bike Virginia Tour. This facility within the park allows for group meetings, reunions, and more. There are also multiple trails located around the lake that are great for hiking and biking.
Twin Lakes has several options if you’re looking for lodging. Choices include cabins, lodges, RV lots, and tent sites. The cabins and lodges are furnished and vary in size sleeping anywhere from 4 to 16 people. A majority of the sites are equipped with electricity, and most are pet-friendly.
